Dalton Jacobs scores Top-10 finish during World Short Track Championship at Charlotte

After a lengthy break late in the season, Dalton Jacobs made a return to the seat at the World Short Track Championship on Thursday afternoon competing in a pair of Late Model divisions at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.).

Falling back in his heat races on Friday, Jacobs started towards the rear of both the 604 and 602 Late Model features. In the $4,000-to-win 604 main event, Dalton made up nine positions to finish 14th before he stormed forward in the 602 main event with a 24th-to-7th charge.
