Dalton Jacobs pulls double duty in busy Memorial Day weekend

Dalton Jacobs joined the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series at his home track of Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) for preliminary night of the Ultimate Showdown.

With 40 Late Models checked in, Jacobs qualified 15th-quickest in his group and made up three spots to finish 12th in the first prelim of the night.

Also competing in the 602 Late Model division, Dalton started 12th and finished 11th in the 20-lap main event.

Saturday's events at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) were rained out.

Making his way to Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon, Jacobs once again pulled double duty in both the Super and 602 Late Model divisions.

Jacobs scored a Top-5 finish in the 602 Late Model feature while he finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th for the $10,000-to-win Summer Kickoff.
